YACHT IN DIFFICULTIES AT SUMNER

The sounding of the warning siren on the Cave Rock at Sumner drew hundreds of persons to the beach early yesterday afternoon. The kceler Mana, owned by G. White, was stranded on the bar and the heavy swell was rocking her precariously to and fro. The members of the Sumner Lifeboat Institute launched the motorlifeboat Rescue 11. quickly, but soon afterwards the Mana was refloated and was sailed to Eedcliffs.
