RISING PRICES
♦ SMALL BUT GENERAL INCREASE (BRITISH OFFICIAV WIRELESS.J (Received February 8, 7.5 p.m.) RUGBY, February 7. The Board of Trade Journal records an increase of 1.9 per cent, for January in the average of wholesale prices as compared with the previous month, and of 4.5 per cent, as compared with January, 1933. For the first time for more than five years the average for each of 10 groups of commodities was higher than in the preceding month.
