GRAND THEATRE

"WILD HORSE MESA" AND "SIvIPPY" The special Christmas programme at the Grand Theatre is headed by Zane Grey's "Wild Horse Mesa." "Skippy," starring Jackie Cooper, will be screened at the matinees only in support of this thrilling drama. In "Wild Horse Mesa" a gang of desperadoes inveigle an astute business woman into a venture in which wild horses are to be trapped in the Indian reservation. It has an excellent plot, in which a pretty girl and a reckless horseman, portrayed by Sally Blane and Randolph Scott respectively, play a prominent part in upsetting the schemes of the gang and bringing them to justice for other crimes. The action takes place in rugged mountain country, and there axe a number of fine scenes of great herds of wild horses and of the Indian encampment. Others in the cast are Fred Kohler, Lucille la Verne, James Bush, Charley Grapewin, and Jim Thorpe.
