THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL
His Excellency the Governor-Gen-eral and Lady Bledisloe, who have been visiting Hanmer for the jubilee celebrations, will remain at The Lodge, Hanmer, until to-morrow, when they will leave for Kaikoura, by way of Cheviot. At Cheviot they will be welcomed by the chairman of the county, Mr T. Stevenson, and after visiting the public school, will be entertained at afternoon tea in the public hall. The night will be spent at Kaikoura and on Thursday the Vice-Regal party will travel north to Picton.
