WAIMAIRI SCHOOL COMMITTEE
At the monthly meeting of the Waimairi School Committee. Mr A. E. Haynes was in the chair. The average attendance of scholars during the month was 370, while the roll number was 390. The school sports, organised by Mr Noble, recently held in ;ie school grounds for the purpose of r;... - ing funds to purchase material ,'er school games, were very successful. Wj proficiency examinations will be he id on December 4, and as the school will be the centre, the other classes will not be required to attend school on that day. The headmaster reported that the work in the presentation of the operetta in the middle of December was well advanced, and pointed to a very successful performance. Arrangements had been made for the school chnir to broadcast from 3YA during the children's session.
