LODGE MEETING

The quarterly meeting of the Loyal Addington Lodge, 1.0.0. F., M.U., No. 6544, was held in the lodge room, Dickeni? street. The N.G., Bro. A. H. Gibson, presided. The doctors' reports were received. Sick pay passed lor payment was £2l 10s. Other accounts passed for payment were £l6l 18s. The marks obtained by the lodge in the recent efficiency competition were on view, and it was resolved to discuss these together with the report accompanying same next lodge night. The following officers were appointed for the ensuing six months:— N.G., Bro. G. F. Dawson; V.G., Bro. D. J. D. Gourley; E.S., Bro. W. G. Wigglesworth, P.G.; Warden, Bro. T. Martin; Guardian, Bro W. Anderson; L.M., Bro. A. Gow, P.G.; Conductors. Bros. E. B. Harris and A. Mclntyre, P.G.; Vigilant Committee, Bro. F. iggo, P.G.. J. A. Clarke, P.P.G.M., and A. Gow, P.G.; social committee, Bros. W. Anderson, J. McGuinness, P.G., H. W. Gourlay, P.D.G.M., T. Martin, A. J. Forsythe, P.G.; hall committee, Bros. F. W. Larcombe, P.G., D. H. Manhire, P.G.; K. McK. Yarrall, P.G., together with the N.G., V.G., E.S., F.S., and treasurer and trustees; benevolent committee. Bros. J. A. Clarke, P.P.G.M., and T. Candy, P.G.; dispensary committee, Bros. W. H. Larcombe, P.G., A. H. Gibson, 1.P.N.G.; reporter, Bro. W. G. Wigglesworth, P.G. The installing officers, Bro. A. Gov/. P.G., gave the charge to the newlyelected N.G., V.G., and E.S., and installed them in their offices. Bro. H. W. Gourlay, P.D.G.M., then addressed each of the newly-installed officers. Bro. J. A. Clarke, P.P.G.M., addressed the retiring 1.P.N.G., Bro. A. Mclntyre. and spoke of this brother's good qualities, and expressed the pleasure of lodge members that he was fully restored to health again. It was resolved that the name of Bro. A. Mclntyre, P.G., be placed on the respect board, and that he receive the usual framed certificate. The N.G. chose as his supporters for the ensuing six months, R.S. Bro. K. McK. Yarrall, P.G., L.S. Bro. L. M. Yarrall, P.G. The V.G. chose as his supporters for the ensuing six months R.S. Bro. J. McGuinness, P.G., L.S. Bro. C. C. Babington.
