BILLIARDS The Lyttelton Club's weekly flying 50 billiards tournament on Monday night was won by E. Chalmers, who defeated G. Cain in the final. On Saturday night the annual billiards and cards match between the Lyttelton Club and the Christchurch Working Men's Club will be played at the Lyttelton Club. Ilitrbour Light Theatre. Carole Lombard is starred with I Clark Gable and Dorothy Mackail in "No Man of Her Own," a Paramount production, to be screened at the Harbour Light Theatre 10-night. The usual excellent Paramount supporting features will be shown. Ambulance Division. At the annual meeting of the Lyttelton Railway Ambulance Division Superintendent J. Lister presided. The annual report stated that the year had been a most progressive one for the division, the most notable events being the opening of the new rooms of the Lyttelton sub-centre and the establishment of a motor ambulance in the port. The following officers were electtd: Ambulance officer, Mr C. Ellis; sergeant, Mr J. Hannah: corporal, Mr S. Oakley; secretary and treasurer, Mr E. McKenzie; minute secretary, Mr G. Matthews; storekeeper, Mr F. Mintcy. Collectors were appointed for the street collection, to be made in Lvttelton on December 1. It was reported that arrangements were being made for the division to challenge the Hillside Workshops Division for the championship of New Zealand, and to send a team to compete against the Hillside team at Dunedin.
