Y.M.C.A. QUEEN CARNIVAL

COKONATION CEREMONY AND BALL A great deal of interest is being displayed in the coronation ceremony to be held as a grand finale to the Young Men's Christian Association's queen carnival. On Tuesday evening, November 14, at 8 o'clock the coronation celebrations will take place in the Caledonian Hall. There will be half an hour's concert programme, and then at 8.30, produced by Mr H. Sweney, a grand coronation ceremony will take place. There will be more than 50 taking part, and the speeches and ceremonial will be of a very high standard. As there has not been a coronation ceremony for many years, it is anticipated that there will be a large attendance of the public. Admission to the coronation ceremony will be Is. This will be followed by a coronation ball from 10 p.m. until midnight. Admission to this will be Is also, and there will be a buffet supper which will be extra. The Rowe-Wallace orchestra will play for the ball. Tickets may be obtained from the Young Men's .Christian Association.
