Annual Appeal. In support of the annual street apnea] which will take place on December 1, the St. John Ambulance Association committee is issuing a small folder, to be circulated by post. The first page of the folder is attractively illustrated and features an ambulance answering an urgent call. The folder, in itself, presents a strong appeal for public subscriptions, this being supported by a brief description of the work now being carried out. The folder is made invaluable to the householder through a page being devoted to "First Aid Hints." these including the treatment of cuts, bruises, electric shock, drowning, poison, fits, and burns.
