Kirk, a farmer, who was the only Canadian holding an Irish Hospital Sweepstake ticket on Raymond, winner of the Cambridgeshire, lost 65,456 dollars thrbugh over-caution. He sold half his ticket which won 141,000 dollars to a London bookmaker for 4000 dollars.
