Si\ motorists in the mountainous district near Ragataz, in the canton of Glarus, Switzerland, had an extraordinary escape from death recently when their car plunged into a ravine in the beautiful Tamina Valley. The car fell more than 450 ft and was almost completely wrecked. Mono oi the occupants was killed, howevjr, and only three oi' them required hospital treatment.
