EXCURSION TO WAITAKI HYDRO

Steady booking continues for the excursion arranged by the Corsair Social Club, of Christchurch, for Sunday, October 22, to the Waitaki hydro-elec-tric works. The excursionists will have four hours to see this great work, which is now in a very interesting stage. In ordinary conditions this visit would necessitate three days. Excursionists wishing to visit Oamaru may go on from Pukeuri Junction and will have seven hours and a quarter in that sunny town before leaving to join the main train at Pukeuri for the homeward journey.
