TENDERS FOR SAMOAN BANANAS. 'PENDERS arc invited for the purchase of the whole or any portion of the shipments oi bananas from Western Samoa by the m.v. M'-ui Pomare during the calendar year ijKf? on the following conditions: "(1) Price quoted to be per case, either f.o.b. Apia or alternatively c.i.f. Lyttelton and/or Wellington. (4) The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted. Notes: (a) The m.v. Maui Pomare will have insulated space for approximately 6900 cases ii'oni Western Samoa by-each voyage, (o) Thirteen voyages are contemplated during the year, the first due to feuve Apia on the 12th January, ic) The total importation of bananas into New Zealand from all sources during 19.M will not exceed 25,000 "Fiji" cases every four weeks during ihe period May to September inclusive, or CO 000 every four weeks during thp periods January to April and October to December. The prices quoted mav be calculated accordingly.
