NOTES AND MEMORANDA
A meeting of past pupils who are interested in the forthcoming jubilee celebrations of the Normal School will be held in the demonstration room at the school to-night. The United Bowling, Tennis, and Croquet Club will officially open its season this afternoon. The annual sports of the Rangi-Ruru School will be held at the trotting ground, Addington, next Thursday. The annual meeting of the Canterbury Girl Guides' Association will be held in the Navy League hall next Wednesday evening, when an address will be given by Miss Buckley, of the Department of Health. Entries for the Christchurch Metropolitan Show, to be held on Thursday and Friday. November 9 and 10 will close with the secretary next Saturday. ______«.
