A garden fete will be held in Mr Murray-Aynsley's ground, 159 Fendalton road, to-morrow afternoon, in aid of '•Little Flower" Church, Riccarton.

The sixty-first annual meeting of the Mutual Benefit Building and Investment Society of Canterbury (Permanent) will be held on Monday, October 30, at noon. A garden party will be held tomorrow at "Stonyhurst," Mount Pleasant, in aid of the Young Men's Christian Association Ladies' Queen. The function will be opened by Mrs McCombs, M.P., at 3 p.m.
