ROLLESTON HOUSE DINNER

© The Rolleston House end of session dinner was held last evening, Mr J. Tifien presiding. The toast of "The House' was proposed by Mr J. G. Poison, chairman of the Canterbury College Hostels Committee, and replied to by the president of the Rolleston House Students" Council, Mr G. TiiTen. The toast of "The College" was proposed by Mr H. W. Lea and replied to by the rector, Di\ J. Hight, and by Mr G. Wilson, a former house man. why has recently returned from Cambridge. Other toasts were: "The Board -if Governors," proposed by Mr R. J. Rodger and replied to by Mr A. K. Flower: "Our Rivals," proposed by Mr L. S. Bambery and replied to by Canon S. Parr, principal of College House; and "The Optimists." proposed by Mr V. Chapman and replied to oy Messrs R. A. Simpson and I. F. G. Milner.
