Holland, M.P., from the Minister for Employment:—"l re* ceived your letter informing me that you had received advice from the Inangahua County Council mat the people of Reefton are now prepared to find an additional subsidy of £SO to complete the unfinished portion of the track from the Alexander mines to Reefton, via Stevenson's Flat. I thank you for this information, and shall be pleased. to arrange for the question of completing this road to be reconsidered." Rugby League. The weekly meeting of the management committee of the Reefton League Club was held last evening Mr Chandler presiding. It was decided to write to Mr Anderson; of the Pirates Club, Greymouth, thanking him for the hospitality extended to the United team. It was resolved that the return match with Greymouth Marist be deferred till next season. Cricket. The annual meeting of the Inangahua Cricket Sub-Centre was held at Ikamatua last evening.
