ESCAPED CONVICTS KILLED
BATTLE WITH POLICE NEW YORK, September 13. A message from Marksville (Louisiana) states that three escaped convicts were killed in a battle with a posse of police at Brouilette, near Marksville, to-day, shortly after the officers had captured three others of 11 who fled from the Angola penal farm after the riot on Sunday.
