EARL'S HOME TO LET

"Owing to circumstances, the Countess of Suffolk is compelled to find a smaller house." This was the reason given recently for the decision of her son, the Earl of Suffolk, who is 27 and unmarried, to let his Wiltshire seat. Charlton Park, Malmesbury, one of the finest country houses in England. It has been the home of the countess for the last 30 years, and during that time she has spent some £250,000 in beautifying it. Lord Suffolk is at present in England on holiday from his ranch in New South Wales, where he has spent eight years. The house, rich in historic associations, stands in a great park, and is to be let either unfurnished or partly furnished.
