A parcel of Dunedin City, 5i per cent, debentures, due 1945, changed hands at £lOl 10s, and there were further buyers at that price, no sellers. Commercial Bank of Australia were fractionally firmer at 16s 2d, market closing 16s Id buyers, 16s 4d sellers. New Zealand Refrigerating 10s paid changed hands at 9s, and more were wanted at that price, sellers at 9s Id—the fully paid were firmer on buyers' offers 18s lOd. Staples Brewery shares realised 28s 6d, buyers staying in at that price, sellers at 295. Timaru Brewery shares were firmer with buyers of the fully paid at lis 6d, and of the 7s 6d paid at 7s. British Tobacco cum dividend were firm with buyers and business at 355, sellers at 3;>s 3d. Dunlop Rubbers cum dividend were firm with business at IBs, and further buyers at that price, sellers at 18s 2d. Electrolytic Zinc preference com dividend changed hands at 33s su. market closing Id on either side. Mining. Alexander Mines partly-paid realised 19s, and more were offered at 18s lid, buyers at 18s 9d. Bel! Hoopers changed hands at Hid and Is. and these were buyers' and sellers' closing quotations respectively. Big Rivers were fractionally firmer at Is l\d and Is !Jd. closing quotations Is 7d buyers, Is 8d sellers. King Solomons cum dividend were fractionally weaker at 2s lid, buyers staying in at that figure, sellers at 2s Hid. Lawson's Flat were a shade easier at 7Jd.
