* AUSTRALIAN STOCKS IN ENGLAND (Received September 8, 9.20 p.m.) LONDON, September 8. It is understood that Mr S. M. Bruce (Australian Minister in London) will at the first favourable opportunity convert £15,000,000 of Australian 6 per cent, stocks on terms representing a great saving to Australia. Tiie rise in wool and general eulogistic comment on the improved general situation in Australia has paved the way for the operation.
