SHOOTING MATCHES AT LEESTOiN. At Loeeton on Saturday the second annual match for the between teams reprr.'onlinj; the Ellesmcro Gun Club rind the Kllcßmero Miniature Bifle Association, the iatter winning by 20 points, the total ecoicb briiif; 2310 and 220!). The teams woro of 31 men a sido. In the aftTnoort a «parrow match was held at the jjiin cmb's ground, fhe i-iin club ncorinc 515 points a-nd the rifle association 255. It was a nine-bird iratcli, the rifle association men shooting from tho 10 yards mark, while the gun club competitors were allowed to choose their own marks, bciiif; awarded a point for every yard they went back beyond the 10 yards mark. A first-barrel kill was counted as two pointa and second barrel as one point. In the evening tho fv.-r, foams competed at rifle shooting on the Lecston Miniature Rifle Club's range. Tho riflemen proved much more expert in this match and made up tho leeway in points rapidly, (hough it was only in the last few rounds that thev established o. lead.
