AUSTRALIAN AIR ROUTE.

♦ MAJOR BRACKLEY'S BELIEF IN FUTURE. LONDON, July 26. Major H. G. Bracklev flew the Astraea (the Imperial Airways survey aeroplane) to Karachi, and then proceeded by the Imperial Airways regular service and reached London in 12 flying days from Darwin, thus completing a round trip of almost 30,000 miles. He arrived a fortnight after he left London. Major Brackley is confident that a regular London to Australia service would prove as popular as the present service to South Africa. No further survey of the Australian route would be necessary, as no great difficulties remained.
