Commercial Bank of Australia were firm with dealings and further sellers at 16s Cd. E., S„ and A. Bank advanced to £5 ss, market closing £5 3s buvers. £5 Gs sellers. Bank of NewSouth Wales cum quarterly dividend rose 7s (id to £3l 17s 6d, and more were offered at that figure. Bank of New Zealand were firmer on buyers' offers 40s 2d. Miscellaneous. Buyers of South British Insurance shares raised their bids to Oils without attracting sellers. New Zealand Guarantee Coiporation remained unaltered at (5s lOd. New Zealand Refrigerating 10s paid shores had dealings at 0s lid, market closing 0s lOd buyers, 6s lid sellers. Wcstport Coals were firm at 13s 3d and more are available at 13s 4d. Christchurch Gas cum dividend advanced to 27s 3d, closing ((notations 3d on either side—the 10s paid were firmer on buyers' offers 13s 4d. New Zealand Breweries were steady with sellers and dealings at 33s 6d. Staples Brewery shares were firm at 20s (id. Broken Hill Proprietary shares had business at 36s 9d, and more were wanted at 375. Beath and Company Is paid remained at 5s 9d, and there were further buyers at 5s Bd. Colonial Sugars had business at £57 ss, market closing £57 2s 6d buyers, £57 5s sellers.
