A saloon car belonging to Miss Jessie Dawe, of 76 Banks avenue, Shirley, which was stolen from outsid® the Trades Hall, Gloucester street, between 8 o'clock and 10 o'clock on Monday evening, was recovered by the owner yesterday afternoon near the spot from where it was taken. Meltzer, counsel for the accused, raised their voices somewhat in asking their questions, believing the witness to be a little hard of hearing.
