The unfamiliar spectacle of a small petrol-driven road-roller traversing the Christchurch Cathedral grounds has attracted the attention of many passers-by during the last two or three days. Workmen are engaged on general improvements, particularly the levelling of the walks and the layingdown o£ fresh shingle.
