ADDINGTON SHOOTING MYSTERY.

NO CLUES OBTAINED. Police investigations into the shooting of a clerk at the Addington railway station on Sunday have not revealed any evidence likely to lead to the arrest of the person responsible for the outrage. Detectives are still working on the case and following up the many leads which must be pursued in an enquiry of this kind, but they are handicapped by the absence of any apparent motive for the act. The wounded man, Leonard Arthur Lee, is still in hospital, and his condition is reported to be satisfactory. He has been unable to throw any light on the matter. The bullet lodged in his neck has not been removed, and it is doubtful whether it will be, in view of.the difficulty of the operation.
