VISITING DEBATERS.

OTAGO COMMERCE STUDENTS. Members of the debating team to represent the Otago University Commerce Students' Society in its annual debate against the Canterbury College Commerce Students' Society on Friday. Julv 28, are Messrs W. S. Gilkison. R. J. Cook, and R. E. Guthrie. The Can-' terbury College Commerce Society will be represented by Messrs C. F, Jones, D. W. Woodward and L. Smith. The subject of the debate will be: "That a Dictatorship in New Zealand would be Preferable to Democratic Government as under the Present Party System." Otago will support the motion, and Mr W. R- Lascelles will act as judge. The Otago debaters will arrive on Friday evening, and leave on the following day. They will be entertained during their stay by members of the College Commerce Society.
