COLLEGE DEBATES.

STI'DENT.S AND MEMBERS OP PARLIAMENT. Two debates between members of the Canterbury College Dialectic Society and local members of Parliament will be held on Friday, July 28, at the Little Theatre. Canterbury College. Against the Government members the Dialectic Society will argue "That the Government has Bungled the Unemployment Problem": and against the Labour members, "That the Policy of the Labour Party Would Ruin the Country." On the same night the Canterbury College commerce students will debate against a teem from Otago University on the subject "That a Dictatorship in New Zealand Would be in the Best Interests of the Community.'' Mr W. H. Lascelles will act as judge in the latter debate.
