JEWISH BOYCOTT PLAN.

• REJECTION BY OFFICIAL BODY. FEARS OF REPRISALS IX GERMANY. (uaiTZD mess association —h.icikic TELEGRAPH—COPTJLIGHT.) (Received July 24, 8.10 p.m.) LONDON, July 24. The Jewish Board of Deputies decided by 110 votes to 27 not to give its official support to the proposed boycott o£ German goods and services. The decision was made after the president, Mr Neville Laski, had opposed the boycott on the ground that there would be grave danger of reprisals on Jews in Germany. According to the "Daily Herald" the decision threatens to split the ranks of British Jewry, of which a large section desires official recognition of the boycott. This is already operating on a large scale and feeling is so intense that 500 Jews on Sunday threatened an East End shopkeeper who was alleged to have sold German goods. They picketed his shop and attempted to dissuade customers from entering it.
