COUNTY COUNCILS. EYRE COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STRIKE RATE. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Eyre County Council at the next ordinary meeting of the Council on MONDAY, the 7th day of AUGUST, 1933, to make and levy under the provisions of the Counties Act, 1920, the River Boards Act, 1918, the Rating Act, 1928, and any Act amending the same, the following rates on the capital value of the whole of the rateable property as now appearing in the Valuation Rolls of the County of Eyre, as under: — A general rate of J of a penny in the pound, in both the Eyre Riding and the West Eyreton Riding. A special rate of one penny in the pound in the Kaikainui .Settlement Special Loan Area. A sanitation rate of 18s Cd per pan in the Kaikainui Settlement Special Sanitation Area. And by Special Order of the Waimakariri River Trust the following rates on properties in the separate classes as follows: — _ . In the Waimakariri Sub-District, Class A: A general rate of 149-2500ths of a penny in the pound. A special rate of 361-10,OOOths of a penny in the pound. And in the Eyre-Cust Loan Area Sub-District as under:— In Class A 309-1000ths of a penny in the pound. In Class B 265-1000ths of a penny in the pound. In Class C 232-1000ths of a penny in the pound. Such rate to be for the period commencing on the Ist April, 1933, and ending on the 31st March, 1934, and to be due and payable in one sum on Wednesday, the 20t.h day of September, 1933, at the oflice of the Eyre County Council, Ohoka, where the Valuation Rolls are now open for inspection.
