HEALTH STATISTICS.

For two consecutive weeks no cases of infectious or notifiable diseases have been reported from the West Coast Health District. For the week which ended at noon yesterday there was an increase of three cas;_, as compared with tho number reported the previous week, in the Canterbury district, as follows:—scarlet fever, five; diphtheria, three; tuberculosis, four; total, 12. There were reported *hree deaths from tuberculosis in the Canterbury district, and one death from the same disease in the West Coast district.
