CONVERSION OF CARS.
THREE YOUNG MEN BEFORE COURT. TRESS ASSOCIATION 1 TtLEar.ju:.) AUCKLAND. July 24. Two young men, who appeared at the Magistrate's Court, admitted converting 10 motor-cars to their own They were Eric Gordon Dryland. 18, and Alfred Ernest Annan, 19. The police said that the accused had been taking cars night after night, driving around, and then abandoning them. Some of the cars had been damaged. The accused were remanded pending a report. A third youth, Oscar Ernest Fletcher, 18. charged jointly in respect to one car, was said by the police to have been led into it. He was admitted to probation for two years on strict conditions.
