"That a request should be made to the Government to amend the Police Offences Act to provide that notice of intention to prosecute for breaches of the Motor Vehicles Act and attendant regulations must be served within a reasonable time of the breach, not exceeding three weeks," runs a remit to be sent by the Wellington Automobile Club to the annual conference of the North Island Motor Union.
