Miss Nona Pinckney ("Glenaray, Southland) has gone to stay with Mrs Herbert Elworthy (Craigmore). Miss N. Armstrong (Chalmers street) has gone to Christchurch.
DEBUTANTE'S DANCE. Mrs J. M. Scott (Scddon street, Tirnaru) was hostess at an enjoyable dance given on Friday night In honour of her daughter Helen, Who was making her debut. Mrs Scott received the guests wearing a frock of black georgette embroidered in black and gold, beaded design. Miss Scott wore a frock of white flor de coma made with a fitting bodice and long flared skirt, and a white lur coat. Her necklet of real flowers was the gilt of her aunt, Mrs F. L. Scott (Christchurch). Roses, coloured streamers, and large cream and gold chrysanthemums were arranged effectively in the reception room 3' ~ Among the guests were Dr. and Mr 3 F. L.
