GREAT NEW INDIAN HARBOUR.
CALCUTTA, July 14. It is announced lhat India's great new harbour on the Vizagapatam coast, which is being constructed at a cost of £4.000.000, will be open to ocean-going steamers 27 feet in draught, by November, Vizagapatam will provide the chief port for the manganese district to the west, and for the productive territory of Orissa.
