The Budapest International Fair gives the citizens an annual opportunity to make merry over the ways of their provincial brethren. Fanners and peasants invaded the city in May, and among the good stories told by their naivette is an incident which occurred at the Kiraly Theatre. A family of 18 persons desired to hire a box for the performance, and it was only after they had been allowed to inspect all the boxes in the theatre that they became convinced that 18 persons could not be squeezed into one of them. The expense of hiring two boxes did not come into consideration, and after a council it was decided that nine of the fatally should witness the first half of the play, and then reliquish their seats to the other nine.
