A suggestion that counsel in a civil claim before the Supreme Court in Auckland should give evidence in the case was not countenanced by Mr Justice Reed. "I cannot allow you to go into the box," he said. "I do not even allow counsel to make affidavits in cases in which they are appearing." . .
