Mackie) at the general meeting of delegates to the Canterbury School Committees' Association last evening, and after a , short discussion it was decided to ■ recommend to school committees that they open accounts with the Post Office Savings Bank. "Some committtees have been concerned over the ordinary banking charges being so high, and it was suggested that as many as possible should open accounts with the Post Office Savings Bank and so reduce the banking charges," said Mr Mackie.
