BRUTAL CRIMES IN POLAND.

FIVE GIRLS MURDERED. (Received July 10, 8.40 p.m.) WARSAW, July 10. A large force of police, assisted by hundreds of police dogs, is combing the villages and forests of Lowicz for a murderer whose crimes are similar to those of the "Dusseldorf ripper." Within a week five girls, whose ages were between 14 and 22, have been brutally assaulted with a hammer and killed, most of them in broad daylight. The population of Lowicz is terrified, women refusing to leave their houses. Troops are likely to be called to the help of the police.
