DIRECT NEGOTIATIONS URGED. WOODFL'LL AS AMBASSADOR. (Received July 11, 8.20 p.m.) LONDON, July 11. The "News-Chronicle" says it is a practical suggestion that W. M. Woodfull should come to England to explain before the Marylebone Cricket Club the Australian case against bodyline bowling. Exchanges of notes seem only to have exasperated both sides.
