Yesterday at the Greymouth Jinks a Canadian foursome was played, Johnston and Garde, Chat field and Brosnan, Nightingale, and P. Warnes, Spong and Mcldrr.m. all finishing all square. The linal will be played later. In the Orkney Cup matches, Meldrum beat Caulton, and D. Fogarty beat Bird. In the Four Horsemen Cup, Sulling beat Spong, and Harris beat Carroll. W. P. McCarthy holed out in one at the eleventh hole. basketball. The West Coast Basketball Association's competition was continued on Saturday in perfect weather, and resulted in the finals being won by St. Mary's A and B teams. In the A grade competition. St. Mary's Feci red nine points, Convent O.G. being runners-up with eight pom's. In the B grade, St. Mary's won with 10 points, the runners-up being Technical B and C«wilh six points each.
