PRIVY COUNCIL APPEAL.
# LEAVE GRANTED TO MR W. D. LYSNAR. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TIr.BGR.AM.) WELLINGTON, July 10. The Court of Appeal in the case W. D. Lysnar v. the National Bank of I New Z6alanu granted Lysnar condij tional leave to appeal to the Privy Council from the judgment of the Court of Appeal, delivered recently in this action. Security was fixed at £SOO, to be arranged within two months.
THIEVES AT AUCKLAND. ♦ FOUR HOUSES AND A CHURCH ENTERED. (?HBSS AfSOCUTXOX T»L»O*.*K.) AUCKLAND, July 10. Four houses in the city were entered by thieves early yesterday morning, and several pounds stolen. In each house the intruder entered several rooms, and twice he was nearly caught when sleepers awakened. A thief entered the vestry of St Matthew's Church last evening and stole two suitcases and some money from coats.
ACCOUNTANT CHARGED. THEFT FROM EMPLOYERS. (MESS ASSOCIATION TILEOBAM.) AUCKLAND, Julv 10. Richard Dias, 36, pleaded * guilty to charges of stealing £353 between August, 193?, and last May from the firm by whom he was employed as an accountant. A director of the firm said accused had been with/ the firm for 22 years. Accused was committed for sentence, bail being allowed.
