TRINITY STILL LEADING. CHRISTCHURCH MATCHES. Trinity held it 3 place at the top of the Christchurch hockoy championship table by defeating Selwyn in a game that opened promisingly but faded into a ragged and poor exhibition. Selwyn Becured two goals from penalty bullies, but could not equalise. Trinity won by three goals to two. Redcliffs assorted its superiority by defeating Sydenham by six goals to two, in a manner that left ro doubt as to which was the better team. Technical drew with University, jn a close, even game, the scores being a fair indication of the relative .strength of the two teams.
