BOWLS.
OPAWA CLUB. j At the annual meeting of the Opawa Bowling Club Mr C. J. Goldstone presided over an attendance of about 50 members. The president reported a very successful season. The club had won the Watson Shield, and its teams had been successful in minor tournaments, winning no fewer than eight of these events. It was decided to instruct the delegate to support Mr Finnegan's proposal to play pennant matches on alternate Saturdays.
