About 300 men participated and waited in a body on the local body officials and expressed their grievances. Later in the day a deputation representing the unemployed accepted the proposals made by the county in settlement of the differences. Several men, including the foreman and the camp cook, were dismissed from Blairlogie camp, the cause Alleged being that the men neglected their work in order to engage in a drinking bout.
