FAMOUS BANDIT IN GAOL.
WILL FACE MURDER CHARGES.
AJACCIO (Corsica), June 8. Andre Spada was sentenced W two years' imprisonment and was fined 1000 francs for the illegal possession of firearms. He will be tried in November fo* alleged murders. [The famous Corsican bandit Andre Spada, after eluding the_ police fdr many years, was captured in one of his hiding places near Ajaccio on June 17. His career of brigandage was begun following a shooting affray m which he was accused of taking part. He took to the mountains and began a campaign of banditry, in which ne enlisted the help of the poorer people of Corsica by devoting his professional [attentions only to the rich.]
