MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

FRIDAY. (Before Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M.) TRAFFIC CASES. For cycling at night without lights the following were fined with costs:— Roy Amtman ss, also 5s for not having a beil. ana' convicted and discharged for not having a reflector; Lionel Gay 15s, Cornelius Hannifin 15s, Stanley Harris 15s, John Major Page 15s, Alan Hepburn Spence 15s, Vernon Neil Guy 10s, Kenneth Stuart Graham 10s, Charles Patrick Goldstone 15s, and John Warman 15s. For not having sufficient lights on motor vehicles the following were fined with costs: —Henry Basher ss, John Francis Burns 10s, Harry George Coburn 10s, Grenville Leamington Downey ss, Roderick Alexander McKay ss, also 10s and costs for not having a driver's license; John Morgan Mitchell ss, Thomas William Woodroffe ss, Henry Gardiner ss, Richard Douglas David 10s. Albert Edward' Whitehouse 10s, and Denis Hartley 10s, also ordered to pay costs for not having a driver's license. For cycling on the footpath the following were each fined 15s and costs: —Stanley Henry Carhart, Charles Herbert Kirk, and Albert Grundy.

For passing a standing tramcar, William Cunningham was fined 20s and costs.

George Gregg was fined £2 and costs for speeding. For failing to give way to traffic on the right, Edward William Grigg was lined and costs.

Molly Laffey ws fined 20s and costs for negligent driving. Charges of failing to give name and address and failing to report an accident were withdrawn.

John William Mill was fined 5s and costs for driving against an automatic signal. For not having a driver's license Frank Ernest Matthews and Hugh Henley Roxburgh were each..fined 10s and costs. Olgu Poulton was fined 5s and costs, for causing an obstruction by parking a motor-car in a street.
