SOUTHERN LAMB SEASON.
INCREASED OUTPUT. After an exceptionally busy yea: which has extended over a long© period of months than usual, thi freezing works in Otago will hav< completed lamb-killing for the seasoi at the end of this month. Tallies a all killing centres have been well u] to expectations, and the total is ex pected to exceed last year's recorc What is of greater interest and sig nificance, however, is the fact that th percentage of firsts this season ha exceeded that of last year very cor siderably, an improvement, how ever, which was very necessary i view of the large volume of secon grade lines killed in 1931-32.
