At the wool sales 6800 bales were offered, including 3235 from New Zealand, about 5830 being sold. Competition was well sustained, with a firm tone, and some withdrawals of greasy merinos owing to high limits. New Zealand greasy halfbred, Benmore, top price lOiid, average 10?. d. Greasy crossbred, Whangara, 9d and Slid. The Bradford tops market is quiet, all qualities of tops being very firm. APPLE MARKET. NEW ZEALAND SHIPMENT. LONDON, May 29. The Port Duncdin's New Zealand apples sold: Jonathans Cs to 9s 3d a case, Dunns iis (jd to 9s 6d, Ballarats 10s to 10s Gd, Sturmers 8s 9d to 10s 6d. SALES IN HAMBURG. HAMBURG, May 29. The Port Adelaide's South Australian apples sold as follows:—Cleopatras 10s 3d to 14s 5d a case, Dunns 10s 3d to 15s lid, Jonathans lis 8d to 14s 2d, Romes 10s 3d to 13s sd. The Tigre's Tasmanian made: Cleopatras 8s Cd to 12s 9d, Dunns 10s 7d to 12s 9d, Jonathans 9s lid to 14s 2d, Scarlets 9s 6d to lis Bd, others 5s 8d to 12s 4d. Tasmanian pears were very wasty, and may be worthless. A small quantity was sound. Vicars, boxes, made 7s Id to 9s 2d. Duchess 9s 2d to 13s 4d, Packham 7s Id to lis 4d.
